I grew up in Washington state, & moved
to southwestern Idaho in 2002.

I returned to school January 2011 - I'm attending University of Idaho, studying Animal Sciences with a focus on dairy. I plan on working toward a Bachelor's degree and going on to a Master's degree if things work out as I hope they will.

I'm interested in research, ruminant nutrition,
and in developing my own small dairy ~ micro-creamery
to make and sell artisinal cheeses & milk.

I'm Currently living on a farm in the Palouse
region of Idaho as the farm caretaker
while I'm attending the university in Moscow.

I raise LaMancha, Nubian, and grade dairy goats. I make farmstead/artesian cheeses from my goat's milk, and from local cow's milk that I purchase from area farms.

My favorite pastimes are spending time with my 2 children and grandchildren, tending my goats, making cheese, photography, snowshoeing, baking & cooking.
